Impala |

These
antelope are very graceful. They can jump as high as 10 feet and
as far as 30 feet in a single bound. Females leave the herd to
give birth. From the side, its tawny appearance hides its
outline from predators. Its rear is marked with a black and
white "flag" (which after giving a warning snort, they bound
off flashing their hind quarters indicating the direction of escape to
the others behind) to keep the herd together. Native
