Atlantic Spadefish

The Atlantic spadefish grows to 1-1.5 feet and lives between 10-70 feet of depth. Atlantic spadefish have a flattened body that looks like the "spade" on a playing card. They have a silver flattened body with dark vertical stripes on the sides. They swim in schools in open water, feeding on pelagic zooplankton such as jellyfish and copepods.
